More Information
Who is it For?
Youth Development is a Co-Ed program for any athlete who is looking to advance their foundational volleyball skills through structured training. We offer different age categories based on the athlete's Birth Year to ensure all athletes compete with and against other players of similar age.
Coaching & Instruction:
Athletes are assigned to consistent teams and coaches throughout the season, which fosters growth, mentorship, and team chemistry. Our coaches are experienced, supportive, and focused on the individual development of each athlete in a fun and structured environment.
Ongoing Improvement:
Our Youth Development program runs in three seasons throughout the year:
-
Fall (September - end of November)
-
Winter (January - end of March)
-
Spring (April - end of June)
If you're looking to continue your improvement all year long, click HERE for more information on our Summer Camps!
Program Format
Team Formation:
The first 2 sessions of each season are focused on skill assessment of all athletes registered. The purpose of the assessment weeks is to build balanced teams for the remainder of the season. Once balanced teams are created, athletes practice and play within their team for the remainder of the season.
Weekly Training Sessions:
Each team trains twice per week throughout the season (exceptions may apply for the youngest age categories where this program takes place once per week).
The two weekly sessions include:
-
An individual skill development session, this is typically the weekday session.
-
A session focused on team play, matches, scrimmages, and game-like drills to allow all athletes the chance to showcase their practiced skills!
A full schedule will be available on the website once registration is live!
Season End Tournament:
Available division slots are filled based on your requested skill tier and your registration date. We seed from the top down—starting by placing requested Elite teams into available Tier 1 spots, and working our way through to Recreational. Registering early is the best way to secure your requested starting position.
